So where do you start? We drank many different types of vodka. It was all very noble. At some point we ate a whole little piglet as a group. I'm pretty sure it was. Yes, but. For sure. That was also outstanding. What scared me a little bit fell down the stairs to the toilet. But nothing happened but luckily in retrospect.
The Wareniki are unbeatable. Incredibly delicious :) The service is good and the food is always of great quality. I like to come more often and currently also order to take away :)
Very nice staff, mega stylish / rancid shop: everything red and puffy, but precisely because of that mega and unique; Food medium but nice Russian. Recommendable. Bar restaurant combo
As always, highly recommended again and again. Super friendly and courteous staff TOP !!!!
Not so great. Okay for something to drink but the food was nothing ... Too loud and crowded for that
Typical Polish / Russian food in a cool pseudo-Soviet atmosphere. It was delicious, but the portions were a bit small and the prices quite expensive.
Super class ? ... I was pleasantly surprised, great ambience, delicious food, nice service. At the entrance there is initially a kind of sports bar, large counter, huge TV, Sky ... further back there is also enough space to sit. Everything very Russian decorated and equipped, but really great. The menu is impressive ... delicious There are also cocktails ?? from me 5 * because everything was just right
A nice little eatery with a Russian flair. A red path runs from the reservation to the menu, which reflects a journey through time of the former Russia. It's set up in a funny way. The kitchen or the dishes themselves did not correspond to the classic Russian cuisine. The cocktails and other alcoholic beverages are recommended. You should make a reservation.
Very good food, cool location.
Nice Eastern European ambience, very nice crew and good cocktails. The Russian food was a welcome change. Booking is a good choice on weekends.
Reserved a week ago on the website with a request for confirmation! Called yesterday. The lady has the phone number. noted down and promised that I would be called. Nothing has happened! I call that a miserable service. Fortunately, there are other Russian restaurants in Cologne!
Twice our waiter tried to hand us the wrong order (probably he couldn't read his writing anymore). Explanations differ from Internet and local menu...
Super nice staff and cozy atmosphere. The food was very tasty and came with a large group with different dishes on the table at the same time, so that nobody had to wait. The selection of drinks is impressively large, there is something for everyone! We will definitely come back here.
Service not particularly friendly. Food has little to do with Russian cuisine. Not particularly tasty either. Sunday evening 4 people in the dining room. It says it all. Can be done, does not have to be. Disappointment for everyone who expects authentic Russian cuisine in an ambience of the same name.
Good hearty cuisine. Staff friendly and competent. Cocktails very well. The shop is visually very well opened. Recommended.
There were four of us with three different dishes. We all thought the food was ok but not a taste experience. The portion could have been a little bigger. The cook had asked if it tasted good. The staff was very friendly.
Food:10;drinks:10; staff: 10
Even better than I imagined. Food is great and the atmosphere is authentic.
There is an extensive selection of vodka products, the kitchen is Russian! interesting exotic restaurant
Food was very good, service was friendly, restaurant was nicely decorated.
Nice little bar in Deutz. Russian style. Nothing fancy. They have some good russian food, not sure if is really russian but what we ate was good. If you are around Deutz and are into that style, than is definitely worth a visit.
Best Vodka in town!
Fun place with Soviet theme and Russian writings on the wall. Just the kind of queer places that I love Cologne for...great Russian cocktails...
Beautiful people in glitzernde Disco-Atmosphere
Flying buffet unfortunately only average The crowd was unfortunately too little for 5 people at the table, there were sometimes only 3 appetizers you had to share because everyone wanted to try. This is definitely up for the price. There should be something on the plate of each dish per person! Likewise with the main course only 3 lamb skewers for 5 people. The meat was consistently too dry - the stuffed duck, the wild boar, as well as the lamb. Here also extra sauce was missing. Grilled vegetables as a side dish something overcooked. Otherwise side dishes good, drinks selection good. Service good. When it gets crowded it is extremely loud in the restaurant. The restaurant suggests typical Russian cuisine - owner and waitress are Poles. The food does not correspond to 100 percent Russian culture and is therefore not the first stop for me if I like to try good Russian cuisine.
A very charming USSR style restaurant, with fast and tasty kitchen! Kind and friendly personal. Reasonable prices! I definitely suggest and shall come again!
Authentic Soviet style! Place to go if you are looking for ab experience described in spy novels of cold war era!
The food looked ok but tasted a letdown. Soup vegetables as a side dish that soften the partly rotten potatoes. The skewer was good. The starters "tapas" were ok. Ambience was ok too. The velvet-covered tables could have been wiped after the last guest. Very nice staff.
Experience gastronomy at its finest. If you want to take a short trip back in time to old Soviet times, you've come to the right place! Plus there is great service, delicious vodka and fantastic food!
Very good place for squatting with friends, top vodka and soviet pivo
A decent place, worth a visit if you are in the area.
Nice food
Good russian food and many sorts of vodka
always again, friendly and good service and normal prices
Eventhough we made a telephone reservation, hoping to get a nice spot, before, we were seated at the latest corner of the front side (no reservation card on the table), just behind the bar. As everyone could expect it was quite loud esp. if the big screen was stil displaying a football match and news. We asked the staffs if they could get us another table as it was loud and uncomfortable to really enjoy the meal while seing some guests came and go from the other room which is supposed to be more attractive with its russian decos and stuffs but they didnt give any efforts to get us one. Forthermore, it was chill bec it was packed at the bar area, one small window was opened and also the wind from the entrance door came inside. My loving date did close the window but didnt help alot since people walked in and walked out. Now to the food I shared: - the Georgian Satsivi (homemade cream of wallnuts, Joghurt, Coriander, Cloves and Garlic. Plus Bread fresh from the oven.) -well we usually get such treatment without extra cost and being charged any cents at a regular restaurant. The bread was ok and the cream wasnt bad either. - Blinis International -typical russian Blinis, filled with chicken, mushrooms, onions, cooked eg and dill. I took - Wolga Beach nice decorated but it was quite cold as it arrived on our table. Softdrink price is ok. I need to mention that the food wasnt 'bad enough' for 2 * Review but the service was a total desaster. It took ages to order as well as to get the food served on the table. No wonder that it was rather cold. We even evidenced that some guests didnt get a proper cultery and returned their food coz it wasnt warm anymore.
Authentic Russian ambience with kick ass vodka selection. Ask for a bowl of pickles with your drink - it's the traditional way!
